Here are some Biblical Answers to some important Questions
Who is Jesus Christ?
Matthew 1:23 “They shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”
Why Did He Come?
1 Timothy 1:15 “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.”
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
No one is good enough to go to Heaven on his own merit. No matter how much good we do, we still fall short.
Save us from what?
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Revelation 21:8 “The lake which burneth with fire…which is the second death.”
Just as there are wages for good, there is punishment for wrong. The penalty for our sin is eternal death in a place called Hell.
How did He Save us?
1 Corinthians 15:3,4 “Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; … he was buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Christ’s great love for us was shown when He died on the cross to pay our sin debt.
What must we do?
Mar 1:15b,..: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Acts 16:31 “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”
Who will be saved?
Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” 1 John 5:12 “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” 1 Corinthians 1:18 “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”
